Do not rely on tape to restore the strength of damaged glass or secure an exposed opening. Keep the area clear and ask about temporary protection until the correct replacement can be installed.
02Do I need tempered or laminated safety glass?
The location and purpose of the glazing determine the appropriate specification. Doors, entrances, and other impact-risk locations may require safety glazing. Glassma needs to assess the opening before the replacement is ordered.
03Can a tenant or property manager request help?
Yes, you can describe the issue and ask about the next step. Tell us who owns or manages the property and who can approve the work. Access and authorization need to be agreed before a repair is arranged.
04Do I need to send photos or take measurements?
Neither is required for the first enquiry. A wide view of the opening and a close view of the fault can help later, if you can take them safely. Final glass and hardware specifications need to be checked before ordering.
