Questions about your home.
Clear answers before arranging glass or door work.
Ask about your repair01Can you replace just the glass and keep the window frame?
Often, if the frame and sash are sound and the glazing system allows it. If the surrounding parts are damaged or unsuitable, they may also need attention. The assessment should establish whether glass-only replacement is practical.
02Why is my double-pane window cloudy between the panes?
Moisture trapped inside a sealed glass unit commonly points to a failed edge seal. Wiping either surface cannot remove it. Replacement of the sealed unit may be possible without changing a sound frame.
03Can a tenant or property manager request help?
Yes, you can describe the issue and ask about the next step. Tell us who owns or manages the property and who can approve the work. Access and authorization need to be agreed before a repair is arranged.
04How should I prepare for an agreed repair visit?
Confirm access and the on-site contact, and explain any parking, tenant, or business restrictions. Keep people and pets away from damaged glass. Ask the team what needs moving; do not dismantle a damaged opening to prepare for a visit.
05Is there a call-out or assessment fee?
Confirm any visit, assessment, and after-hours charges with Glassma before arranging attendance. Sending a quote request does not authorize a paid visit or repair. A written estimate should separate those charges from the permanent work.
06Is the repair covered by a warranty?
Ask which workmanship and product warranties apply to the proposed repair, and request the terms in writing. Coverage can differ between the glass, hardware, and installation; the estimate should identify the applicable terms.
