01Can the replacement have Low-E glass?
Low-E is a coating that reduces heat transfer through glass. Ask about a compatible option for your window during assessment. New glass will not necessarily resolve drafts or leaks caused by damaged framing.
02Does my window need safety glass?
The location and use of the glass determine the specification. Openings near doors or other impact-risk locations may need safety glazing. The opening needs checking before replacement glass is ordered.
03What if my window is still under warranty?
Tell us the window brand and check any existing manufacturer warranty before ordering. Ask which product and workmanship warranties apply to the proposed replacement and request the terms in writing.
04Can I request help for a rental property?
