Storefront glass.

Repair the glass your business depends on.

A damaged storefront affects security, access, and the impression your business makes. Tell us where the damage is and whether the building can be secured. The plan may include temporary protection, measuring replacement glass, and arranging access for the work.

Start with a description. The scope, price, and timing are confirmed before you agree to the work.

(Questions, answered)

Questions about storefront glass.

Keep the business, the entrance, and the specification in mind.

Ask about your repair
01Can one storefront panel be replaced without replacing the whole frontage?

It may be possible when the existing framing and glazing system remain suitable. Damage to seals, supports, or neighboring sections can change the scope. A site assessment establishes what can be retained.

02Can my business stay open during storefront repairs?

That depends on where the damage is and whether customers and staff have a safe route. Explain opening hours, entrance use, and any alternative access. The work area and schedule need to be planned before attendance.

03What is the difference between tempered and laminated glass?

Tempered glass is heat-treated and breaks into smaller pieces. Laminated glass has an interlayer that can retain broken fragments. They serve different needs; neither is a substitute for checking the right specification for the opening.

04Will laminated glass make my storefront unbreakable?

No. Laminated glass can retain fragments after impact, but security performance depends on the full glass-and-frame system and the threat it is designed for. Describe the security concern so suitable options can be discussed.

05Can broken glass be replaced on the first visit?

Sometimes the right replacement is available, but custom size, safety treatment, tint, or a sealed unit can require an order. Ask what can be secured immediately and what needs a later installation visit.

06Does a board-up price include the replacement glass?

Do not assume it does. Temporary protection and permanent replacement are different stages. Ask for a written breakdown showing attendance, board-up, disposal, replacement materials, and installation as applicable.
